Yep, that’s right! I came across a recipe online that involved taking a whole chicken, putting an half full can of beer in its “cavity”, standing it up like a tripod and putting on the BBQ for an hour and a half. Crazy but it worked! The result was moist chicken with a hint of beer. You can also do the same thing with white wine in an empty (clean) tin of beans. If you prefer no alcohol apparently lemonade mixed in with herbs works well too. Before putting the beer can in the chicken’s nether regions you can rub it with oil, seasoning, garlic and lemon juice. That’s a sentence I never thought I would say in my life time!
